Zizo the owner at Sharm life suggested it may be better value to do the 5 in one excursion which included camel ride and Bedouin show.
What agreat day we had so much fun with the other people who joined the trip the driver was great.
(Sorry I forgot you name.) The quad bikes were great, the camel ride was bumpy but still fun and no one fell off. When we arrived at the Bedouin village the people were genuinely pleased to see us and I was surprised that they remembered seeing me before.
A wander up the up the hill to watch the sunset and then a nice dinner and show.

We have done this trip many times and when our grand children are with us they always want to go.
As I said I did a review earlier in the year and when we returned in November with my 8 year old grandaughter we took the trip again as she enjoys this type of adventure and she had such a good time that she has already said that she wants to do it next time.
I would just like to say that everyone should listen to the briefing at the beginning were you are informed that the camel ride is part of the trip but you may be asked for a tip by the camel driver.
Please don't let something like this put you off going on this trip.
In finishing I would say that those "random kids " are the children of the families in the Bedouin Camp.
Experience to do - It was a unique experience, I spent a beautiful afternoon meeting new people and beautiful places.
It was great to ride the quad.

We were collected early from our hotel and taken straight to the airport where we were greeted by friendly staff who helped us go straight through to the domestic departure lounge. Just 40 mins later we were on our flight to Luxor.
The journey only took an hour and the cabin crew Omar on PAS airlines was so friendly, we were given ice cold water after takeoff and soon started our descent.
When we arrived in Luxor we were greeted by our tour guide Mohamed and our chauffeur. He was incredibly knowledgeable and spoke amazing English.
We started by visiting the Valley of the Kings and he escorted us around and told us all of the amazing things about each of the tombs we visited.
Once done we visited many monuments and temples and really got to enjoy the ancient Egyptian architecture. We visited a factory and got to see how they make stone ornaments and even had a go ourselves! The staff in the shop after gave us some tea and drinks and showed us their amazing ornaments. Surprisingly the staff were not pushy at all in selling their products either which was amazing.
From there we had lunch at a great little restaurant called Africa. I was a little skeptical about having food outside the hotel but again I was pleasantly surprised, I think the food there is actually better than our 5* hotel!
Once we were done Mohammad surprised us by taking us on a private boat down the Nile River to Banana Island. There we met some locals, had sugar cane drinks and ate bananas. We then we're greeted with a baby Nile Crock who we were able to hold! There were other animals there too like monkeys, crocodiles, camels and donkeys, which I must say were kept in really good condition and the animals that were enclosed were living in great condition.
Once we had our drinks we set off again down the Nile on our private boat and proceeded to our next stop which was another temple, this one was called Karnak. We watched the sunset over the magnificent ancient Egyptian structures and then proceeded to the airport were again we were greeted by friendly staff who helped us board the plane.
I was a little skeptical about booking and paying for a trip upfront but we saved so much money by booking direct through Zizo and his team at Sharm Life. He messaged me every step of the way and added me on Whatsapp so we were able to communicate whilst I'm here in Egypt.

Main tip: wear lots of warm clothes (it's windy on the bikes and very cold in the desert in the evening).
Also, as they advise, sunglasses and a keffiyeh (Arab headscarf) to keep the wind and dust out of your face as you ride the quad bike. They'll sell you a cheap headscarf if you haven't got one.

Some bullets:
Zizo communicated almost instantly after booking which reassured me I was booked onto the trip
The driver that collected me was punctual, fun, polite and with excellent manners

Food was plentiful and tasty
They also know about astrology and was able to deliver in an interesting way which, for someone that knows nothing, was very intrigued and delighted to learn.
To top it all, Zizo arranged for everyone to sing happy birthday which I thought was a lovely thing to do...
