Overview
Luxor is the premier travel destination in Upper (southern) Egypt and the Nile Valley. It has much to offer the travelers, from vast temples, to ancient royal tombs, via spectacular desert and river scenery and a bustling modern life.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Sharm by an A/C van and taken to Sharm Airport where you will board your plane to fly to Luxor. Once you have arrived, you will be met by our Egyptologist tour guide who will accompany you for the day.
You will start your tour by visiting the West Bank of The Nile River to visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon), then visit the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs were discovered.
Then you will continue the tour to visit the Hatshepsut temple at El Deir El Bahary, this impressive temple was dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut the only female pharaoh. It rises out of the desert in a series of terraces and merges with the sheer limestone cliffs that surround it.
You will then drive to the East Bank for lunch time, then you will enjoy a trip to visit the magnificent Karnak temple the largest place of worship ever built. Its ancient name Ipet-isut means “The Most Sacred of Places”.
You will then make the return trip to the airport to catch your return flight to Sharm.
